The GYXS/GYXTW optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber sheathed in a high modulus loose tube filled with waterproof compound. The loose tube is longitudinally wrapped with a double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP), ensuring cable compactness and longitudinal water-blocking. Two parallel steel wires/FRP are placed on both sides for added strength, and the cable is squeezed with a polyethylene sheath.
